Swaddling Clothes of the Infant Jesus Relic

Relic containing a fragment of the Swaddling Clothes of the Infant Jesus, preserved inside a sealed antique reliquary.

The Latin inscription identifies the relic as:

• De Pannis et a Cunis J. Infantis D. N.
  (“From the Cloths and the Cradle of Our Lord the Infant Jesus”)

The relic is displayed on a golden fabric background, adorned with two symbolic star motifs evocative of the Nativity and the Star of Bethlehem.
