Saint Veronica Giuliani (Ex Capillis) Relic

Reliquary containing a hair relic (ex capillis) of Saint Veronica Giuliani, Italian mystic and Capuchin nun.

The relic is carefully preserved within a traditional round theca, mounted on a red textile background. The handwritten labels “Ex Capillis” and “S. Veron. de Jul.” identify the relic as a strand of hair from Saint Veronica Giuliani.

Saint Veronica Giuliani (1660–1727) is renowned for her intense mystical life, visions, and deep devotion to Christ’s Passion. She is considered one of the great mystics of the Catholic Church.
