Saint Thomas Aquinas Reliquary

Reliquary containing a relic of Saint Thomas Aquinas, one of the greatest theologians and philosophers of the Church.

The relic is carefully mounted at the center of a traditional theca, set on a red fabric background and framed with decorative gilt elements. The handwritten label “S. Thomas Aq.” identifies the relic.

Saint Thomas Aquinas (1225–1274), Doctor of the Church, is renowned for his monumental work Summa Theologica and his synthesis of faith and reason. He is the patron saint of scholars, theologians, and students.
