Saint Peter the Apostle Ex Ossibus Relic with Certificate

Rare and significant reliquary containing a relic ex ossibus (of the bone) of Saint Peter the Apostle, one of the most important figures of Christianity and the first Pope.

The relic is presented in a traditional round metal theca with a glass front, set on a gold-toned textile background. The handwritten label “Ex oss S. Petri Ap.” clearly identifies the relic as coming from the bones of Saint Peter.

A symbolic star-shaped ornament highlights the relic, a typical decorative feature in devotional reliquaries.
