Each relic is identified by handwritten Latin labels:

• S. Franc. Ass. — Saint Francis of Assisi

• S. Clara Ass. — Saint Clare of Assisi

The relics are mounted on a purple silk background, decorated with small embellishments.

Saint Francis of Assisi (1181–1226) — Patron saint of Italy, animals, ecology, and peace.
Saint Clare of Assisi (1194–1253) — Founder of the Poor Clares and patron saint of television and communication.
