Saint Francis of Assisi Ex Cineribus Relic

Rare and meaningful reliquary containing a relic ex cineribus (from the ashes) of Saint Francis of Assisi, one of the most revered saints in Christianity.

The relic is enclosed in a traditional oval metal theca with a glass front, mounted on a textile background. The labels “Ex Ciner. Cor.” and “S. Franc. Ass.” identify the relic as originating from the ashes associated with Saint Francis.

Saint Francis (1181–1226), founder of the Franciscan Order, is known for his life of poverty, humility, and deep connection with nature and all living creatures.
